Modernisation of the Tatra T3 – Ukrainian tram “Odyssey”

For the modernisation of the Tatra T3, IBT GmbH designed, manufactured and supplied a complete interior equipment package.

Scope of supply

• Passenger compartment with seats, handrails and lighting
• Driver’s cab with enclosure, control desk and interior trim
• End module for the second car, including lighting, supporting structure and lower bumper

The interior and vehicle equipment were developed with due regard to fire safety, visibility, operational safety and impact resistance. The control desk was tested during the prototype phase and adapted to the requirements of the country of operation.

Its composite enclosure combines ergonomic design with the visual language of the cab. Certified materials are used throughout the interior, with supporting documentation demonstrating compliance with requirements including UIC 564-2, EN 45545-2, GOST 12.2.056 and GOST 12.1.044.
