Interior equipment for GT4-series trams

IBT GmbH designed, manufactured and supplied a complete interior equipment package for GT4-series trams.

Scope of supply

• Passenger compartment with seats, handrails and lighting
• Driver’s cab with enclosure, control desk and interior trim
• End module for the second car, including lighting, supporting structure and lower bumper

The equipment was developed with due regard to fire safety, visibility, operational safety and impact resistance. The control desk was tested during the prototype phase and adapted to the requirements of the country of operation.

Its composite enclosure allows an ergonomic form that integrates naturally with the cab interior. Certified materials are used throughout, with supporting documentation demonstrating compliance with requirements including UIC 564-2, EN 45545-2, GOST 12.2.056 and GOST 12.1.044.
